BOOK THIS PIERCING NOWDermal piercings are also known as ‘single point’ piercings because they don’t have a separate entry and exit point. This ‘single point’ look is achieved by
inserting a small metal plate or "anchor" under the skin and screwing a ball or jewel to the top which lies flat against your skin. These can be done on various part of the body including, back, chest or face.
Jewellery: Dermals are pierced using a 14 gauge anchor, and 14 gauge 4mm top or gem.
Healing: Usually 6 months for full healing. Patching (securing with a band-aid) is recommended for the first 3 months, especially while sleeping or working out- to minimize the risk of bumping or damaging the piercing.
Aftercare: Never touch a fresh or healing piercing. We recommend a sterile saline solution (available instore or online) twice daily. Avoid swimming (fresh water, pool or beach) for the first 6-8 weeks of healing. Be mindful of bumping or knocking your dermal.
