In store loyalty program only
Effective 27 November 2023
1.1 SkinKandy and its group of companies runs a loyalty program known as the Kandy Club (“Program”).
1.2 These terms and conditions form the basis of the Program and govern the use of the Card and membership of the Program.
1.3 By applying for membership or using the Card, a person:
1.3.1 agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions and any variations to them;
1.3.2 agrees to participate in the Program; and
1.3.3 agrees to receive information and promotions via e-mail, mail and SMS/ MMS (where such information has been provided by that person) from SkinKandy unless they have opted out; and
1.3.4 agrees, unless they have opted out, to receive requests to join social media groups created and operated by SkinKandy and to receive information and promotions through social media.
2.1 To become a member of the Program (“Member”) a person will need to legibly complete the enrolment form (including providing a current email address) either submitted online or provided to a SkinKandy staff member in-store. The Member will be issued with a Card in store.
2.2 Employees of SkinKandy are not eligible to join the Program.
2.3 Persons under the age of 16 are not eligible to join the Program. If you are under the age of 18, SkinKandy may require a parent or legal guardian to approve your membership.
2.4 Applicants can only be eligible for one membership each and the issuing of a Card and disqualifying of a Card or Member of the Program is at SkinKandy’s sole discretion. Membership is for personal use only. It must not be used by or for a corporation or business and is not transferable.
2.5 Members of the Program may be offered with the benefits listed in Clause 4 (“Benefits”) subject to Clause 11.
3.1 To participate in the Program, a Member is required to present their Card. If a Member does not have his or her Card with him or her, then the Member can identify themself as a Member to SkinKandy by providing personal information, which matches up with the personal information the Member has previously provided to SkinKandy (“Identification”). By providing Identification, a Member will be bound by these terms and conditions as if the Member is using the Card and reference to presenting or using a Card in these terms and conditions also includes where a person provides Identification.
3.2 The Card must be presented at the time of making a purchase, at a Participating SkinKandy Store, for the Member to be eligible to receive a Benefit of the Program.
3.3 SkinKandy is entitled to regard the person presenting the Card as the Member.
3.4 It is the Member’s responsibility to keep the Card and their personal information safe and SkinKandy is not responsible for expired Benefits according to these terms and conditions or for stolen, lost or damaged Cards or the failure of a Member to provide the Card at the time of making a purchase.
3.5 If a Card is lost or damaged, a Member may apply for a replacement Card at a Participating SkinKandy Store.
3.6 The Card and any benefits provided in relation to the Program at all times remain the property of SkinKandy.
3.7 It is the responsibility of the Member to check the receipt after each transaction to ensure the details are correct. It is the responsibility of the Member to provide SkinKandy with any changes to the Member’s personal details.
4.1 Birthday Discount
A 50% off discount is offered during the birthday month of each member. This discount is valid for 30 days from receiving their birthday email and is only valid once, on one piercing.
4.2. Other rewards and offers
Members may be given the opportunity to enter competitions and receive information, promotions or offers run by SkinKandy. Competitions and other information, promotions or offers may be subject to their own terms and conditions.
5.1 If a Member no longer wishes to participate in the Program or receive the information or offerings, the Member can withdraw from the Program by notifying their local SkinKandy store via phone, email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or in person.
5.2 SkinKandy reserves the right to vary these terms and conditions at any time and to suspend or cancel the Program and/or the Card at any time upon reasonable notice.
Any notice SkinKandy may wish to provide to the Member shall be regarded as notified to the Member if sent by prepaid post or e-mail addressed to the Member’s address provided in the enrolment form, or as otherwise notified in writing to SkinKandy
For any enquiries regarding the Program or if a Card is lost or damaged, please contact a local SkinKandy store via phone, email or by visiting the store.
- Personal information
A Member can update their personal information by contacting their local SkinKandy store via phone, email or by visiting the store.
- Opting Out
Opting out of messages sent by us through the Program will not opt you out of receiving messages from SkinKandy in general. If you would like to opt out of receiving messages from SkinKandy outside of the Program, please follow the opt out facilities in their communications or other opt out options.
11.1 SkinKandy may change, suspend or terminate these terms and conditions at any time.
11.2 We will give advance notice of any such change, suspension or termination on our website (or you can obtain details by contacting SkinKandy at email@example.com), which will allow you time to cancel your membership within the period of that advance notice, in the event that you do not wish to agree to the relevant change or suspension.
11.3 Where we change the terms and conditions, a copy of the revised terms and conditions will be available on the SkinKandy website or can be obtained by contacting SkinKandy at firstname.lastname@example.org. We recommend that you visit our website regularly to keep up to date with any changes.
11.4 If you continue to use your membership or any other membership facilities or seek to access or use any member benefits after the period of advance notice has expired, you will be deemed to have accepted the amended terms and conditions.
12.1 The Benefits of the program may be provided SkinKandy in relation to a single store, all stores or online (www.skinkandy.com). Each Benefit, at the time it is provided, will state how, where and to what extent the Benefit is able to be redeemed.
12.2 The Card and the technology utilised by the Program depend on third parties and SkinKandy. SkinKandy is not responsible for computer or technological errors or failures, or for fraud.
12.3 Benefits provided under the Program are not transferable, are not redeemable for cash and are not negotiable instruments.
12.4 Third parties involved in the program do not have any authority, express or implied, to make any representation, warranty or statement on behalf of SkinKandy and SkinKandy accepts no liability in respect of such representations, warranties or statements.
