Titanium and 14K Gold both suit sensitive skin better than Surgical Steel. Do not remove your jewellery during the healing phase, as this can cause the piercing to close and reinsertion risks irritation.

How does a septum ring compare to a nostril stud?

A nostril stud is a small, fixed piece worn at 18G or 20G, sitting close to the skin with little movement. A septum ring is a larger hoop-style piece worn at 16G, typically a segment ring or horseshoe at 8mm or 10mm diameter, designed to sit in the septum tissue rather than the nostril.
